In an electronic circuit, you need a capacitor to store 5.000e-9 J of energy.?
You have 1.50 volts available to charge it with. What capacitance should you choose? answer in F

I have recently gotten in the habit of taking off electronic components from motherboards, circuit boards, etc. and I want to know what the capacitance is of the capacitors I take off.
Any help?
Hi, i’m having a little trouble. A schematic diagram of a 3-band equalizer is on this link: http://freecircuitdiagram.com/2008/11/25/3-band-graphic-equalizer-circuit/
Here’s a story. I went to a local electronic shop to buy the parts needed for that 3-band equalizer. When I asked the vendor for the capacitors, he asked me, "how much is the voltage? what kind of capacitor do you need?" and i just said, "i don’t know". The supply needed is 12V DC and the values of the capacitors are:
0.1uF
47nF
4.7nF
0.47nF
22nF
1nF
33uF
I’m sorry but I’m such a noob at this, but I’d really really appreciate it if anyone can help or tell me if there’s some sort of formula for this.
Thank You very much ![]()
I have small battery powered electronic toy that makes sound. I would like to amplify the sound to make it louder. I have a very basic knowledge of electronics, so I could add small capacitors or resistors to some wires, but anything involving complicated circuit boards or actually rewiring the toy itself are pretty much out of the question. Thanks…
I want a user friendly software that uses a drag and drop approach to design a electronic circuit, measure current or voltage between any points, some basic components in it like resistors, transistors, capacitors etc… Do you know any software like that?
Sheldon, i wanted a drag and drop type software. not a programming software..
and Blackstreet you dipshit, your software doesnt allow me to test the circuit.. it allows me only to build it and chuck it out of window.
All these dipshits got the answer wrong.
All of these are only drawing software. But i wanted a software with which you can test the actual circuit.
What is the full name of an Element starting with Q?
On a circuit board there are labels. For example for resistors it is "R", for diode "D", for capacitor "C" what is "Q" for?
L and C
The fq is 5khz, the BW is 600Hz and the RW is 20 Ohms. How do I find the inductor and capacitor value. Thanks for the help.
Oh sorry. Its a parrallel resonant filter circuit
Oh sorry. Its a parrallel resonant filter circuit
Yes, I am making something like electronic jewellery that can be used as as a warning.
Each circuit has to have two LEDs of different colour, mine is green and red. The circuit got to have resisters, capacitors, semiconductor devices and battery snap. I could add something different to it, but I have as well as to justify it.
Can you give me some ideas?
