Electronic Circuit Books Archives

I'm 15 and interested in majoring in Electronic Engineering, specifically I want to specialize in Electronics, I want to know what books I should read on the topic.

I know I can buy one online but Im afraid that its not gonna work and then I'm gonna have trouble returning it. I know Circuit City, Best Buy don't have them. I tried looking in the phone book but I dont see anything. So, is there any major electronic stores out there that have them?

What is a good book to learn circuitry?

As the title explains I would like to learn basically what a sophomore/junior level EE student would learn. I’m looking for the practical side of circuitry, and less towards the theory. Obviously you need theory to understand practical and vice vursa, but I would like to actually be able to make basic circuits not just understand how they work. I’m a sophomore chemical engineering student and I’ve taken Physics Electricity and magnetics so I understand ac, dc, R,C, L Circuits. Also, is there any book or site that has different chips and what they do etc?

The last thing is I want the book to be cheap…

These are 2 I’ve found through amazon that people seemed to like. Anyone used these?
Teach Yourself Electricity and Electronics, Fourth Edition (Teach Yourself) – Stan Gibilisco; Paperback
A Practical Introduction to Electronic Circuits – Martin Hartley Jones; Paperback

Basic circuit design?

I have interest in electronics, i want to learn how to design a practical electronic circuit.can you advise any good book for beginers.i have basic theoretical knowledge of electronic hardware.

I have a good collection of radio transistor circuit books, original card document circuits of radio, trs.,tape recorders, reference manuals of trs.,valves. some instruments of repairing setup in working order.(all antique) also have one pye radio,36-H.1948 make and one zenith trs. both in working order
I want to sell them if anybody really interested and if they are of some use to him.How can i approach to him.?
mostely the circuits are of old and antique radios and all.
thanking you.

Could anyone suggest a good reference book for understanding the basic fundamentals of electrical and electronic engineering?
The topics that should be covered are DC circuits, work power and energy, capacitor, magnetic circuits, electromagnetic induction, single phase AC circuits, poly phase circuits, domestic wiring, semiconductor devices

I am new to electronics but I want to start building my own circuits on circuitboards and all that fun stuff??? What's a good book for this?

Hey can u pls provide me link to a book Electronic Devices and Circuits by Boylestad…thanx in advance….
