What is the difference between a circuit and a circuit board?
Does anyone know of an electronic component that can be used to push a physical button?
I’m setting up a circuit to remotely push a button but need to find the component that will do the actual button pushing; I looked at actuators but they seem too big and expensive for such a simple purpose.
Please help me plan a circuit! Electronic Engineering?
I need a circuit to control a mirror ball.
I want the motor to go in forward and reverse according to the music input signal (or a base pulse generated from elsewhere in the circuit)
I was considering using a diff op amp. one input has the input from a 555 and one has the bass input. But this does not work as i would hope.
To run the motor in forward and reverse, i will need to be able to get a +ve and -ve output to drive the motor.
It doesn’t matter if it doesn’t really move with the music, just some sort of connection to the music!
What is the best way to fix small broken components on a circuit board? What sort of resin/glue?
The parts do not necessarily need to be soldered as it appears they were fixed by some sort of resin but this has broken. Bear in mind this is very small, essentially it is the play button of an mp3 player.
Things to know in order to find the right relay?
I’m making a proximity sensor circuit and want to use a relay to trigger lights or toy motors or something.
My question is what do I need to know to figure out which relay I need.
I know the voltage and amperage(9v -400mA) of my signal and a rough idea of my main load (one hundred LEDs or 4-5 toy motors). How exactly do manufacturers call these ratings and is there a standard naming convention for relays similar to transistors and diodes? I can;t order online so local electronic shop will have to do.
Help with a simple electronic circuit.?
I have a 6v 50 MAh solar panel and a 3v dc motor. How do I reduce the voltage of the solar panel to 3 volts in order to power the dc motor safely?

Can I patent an Electrical/Electronic Circuit?
Can i overload my keyboard’s circuit board by putting LED lights?
I’m trying to mod my keyboard by adding back lighting. I was going to to use the scroll lock key for a switch and the LED indicatr light for the power supply. i counted 30 LED spots. I was wondering if i cud over load the circuit board on it.
im trying to add a backlight with 30 LED bulbs and i was thinking of using 1 led slot on the circuit board for the power supply. so was wondering if i cud overload or short circuit or cause any other damage to circuit board doing so
Need some help shipping electronic circuit boards?
What is the best material to ship circuit boards in other than special non-electric static bags? I have newspaper, bubble wrap, tin toil, plastic, etc? Thanks so much! 10 POINTS BEST ANSWER
